Huckleberries grow wild in the Montana mountains, and the Gates family was the first to offer huckleberry preserves from their Bigfork kitchen. For over 50 years they have been making the best preserves (similar to a jam or jelly) and syrups from the native fruits of Montana, including wild huckleberry.
